House Full Of Talent

Annual Variety Show was in full swing in the PAC on Wednesday night, and was full of powerful performances at SHS. Once again, the students of Snohomish took the word Variety and ran with it, with performances ranging from a Masters of the Universe karaoke jam to a neon light show done on a pitch black stage. Let's Clear Up the 'Diet' Confusion

The American population has a population that is alarming two-thirds overweight. When people realize that consuming grains and sugars cause weight gain, the obesity and weight issues will decrease. The human body has not fully adjusted to eating the foods which have developed in the last 12,000 years. These "new" foods have aided in the rise of digestive problems, heart disease, autoimmune diseases, systematic inflammation, obesity, and diabetes. READ STORY »
Incredible Local Café is a Must Try

Jake's Café is a traditional old style café located on 2nd street in Snohomish, Washington. Doors open at 6:30, so it is the perfect place to grab breakfast before work or school.
The waitresses are very friendly and keep your coffee full, which are both necessities that early in the morning. Service is very quick. For being a small café, Jake's is very accommodating to large parties. READ STORY »
Rogue Finals Test Wreaking Havoc in Small Town

School officials are scrambling to contain a rogue final exam that was released from containment before its scheduled days of freedom during January 27 and 28.

Explorer Falls Review

Explorer Falls, otherwise known as Wheeler Falls, is a little-known waterfall just outside of Snohomish. It is an easy mile walk down a logging road to the base of a 50-foot horsetail formed waterfall. It is located near Lake Roesiger, off of Monroe Camp Road. READ STORY »
The Girls Who Made Country Songs

Young country music artists Maddie and Tae released their first album called "Start Here" on August 28, 2015
One of the albums hits is “Girl in a Country Song," which dominated local country music radio stations and quickly became one of the top songs of summer 2015. The lyrics of the song describe the emotions of women that feel that they are expected to just sit quietly and look pretty, and that they are not being given the respect that they deserve from men. Seahawks squeaked past the Vikings this week in one of their wildest wildcard weekends in Seattle history beating. The defending NFC champions squared off against the division winning Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The Hawks would not only have to deal with a revenge hungry Vikings team, but also the weather. The game temperature ranged from around -6 to 0 degrees, with a wind chill of -20 below at times. This game was by no means a cake walk like their last matchup. READ STORY »
