Snohomish Panthers Fall to Cascade Bruins

Last night the Snohomish Boys Basketball team lost against the Cascade varsity basketball team with a final score of 58-46.
There was an exciting start to the game for the Panthers when senior Kobe McDaniel scored within the first two minutes of the game. The Panthers trailed behind by only two or three points for most of the first quarter with both teams scoring on and off. By the end of the second quarter, however, the Bruins had made 31 points while the Panthers only scored 18. READ STORY »
Panthers take victory in first league game

Snohomish Panthers take their first league victory beating the Mt. Vernon Bulldogs with a final score of 63-50 in a home game last Thursday, January 7.
Early in the game, the Panthers took the lead and held it tight.
Senior Peyton Plucker, who plays power forward, had nine rebounds- the highest amount of rebounds for a player in the game. Plucker has been playing basketball since he was in first grade and has played three years at Snohomish High School, only missing his sophomore year due to a concussion. READ STORY »
SHS Girls Varsity Basketball is Ready to Take on the Season

The Snohomish varsity girls basketball team finished last year as the District Champions. With a promising chance at reaching state, the girls had headed into 4A Regionals with drive and focus. Only one game away from reaching state, the girls finally lost by six points against Bothell High School. READ STORY »
Panther Winning Streak Ends

The Panthers ended their post-season with a 61-26 loss to Graham-Kapowsin.
The Eagles scored three touchdowns before sophomore Keegan Stitch scored SHS’s first touchdown from a 30-yard run in the first quarter.
In the second quarter, the Eagles scored three more touchdowns, making the score 42-7 at half time. READ STORY »
SHS Volleyball loses to Monroe

The Snohomish Panthers lost against the undefeated Monroe Bearcats 3-1 in the second match-up between these rival schools this season

SHS Girls Soccer ties with Monroe

The Snohomish girls soccer match against Monroe ended in a 2-2 tie after completing two overtime periods.
The Panthers dominated most of the first half, but then went down a goal scored on a break away by Monroe junior Madison Bradley right before the half ended. READ STORY »
SHS JV Volleyball Wins 2-0 over Cascade Bruins

The SHS Junior Varsity volleyball team came out strong with a 2-0 win over the Cascade Bruins on Thursday.
The start of the game was fast with the Panthers leading 5-0. During the first match, Cascade had 13 unforced errors which resulted in Snohomish having the lead halfway through the game. That was the theme of both games until the end of the second, when Cascade began to pick up the pace. READ STORY »
Panthers Beat Timberwolves 39-24

The Snohomish Panthers had yet another win last Friday, beating the Jackson Timberwolves 39-24.
The Panthers are now 4-4 overall after having several losses at the beginning of the season. Snohomish turned this around and are now on a 4-game winning streak.
This streak has secured Snohomish's spot in the playoffs this season. READ STORY »
Homecoming Victory Against Kamiak Knights

Senior Kobe McDaniel led the Snohomish Panthers in a 48-28 victory against the Kamiak Knights in the SHS 2015 Homecoming game on Saturday night.
The Panthers have increased their ranking to 3-2, on a three game winning streak after a series of two losses in a row, plus two preseason losses.
McDaniel threw five touchdown passes throughout the game and ran the ball himself over ten times, totaling 69 running yards. READ STORY »
Varsity Tennis Conquers their Season

SHS varsity tennis finishes the season undefeated with 16-0.
With an undefeated season on the line, SHS had to play against Lake Stevens on their home courts. They overcame Lake Stevens, which led to a dramatic finish to their season.
“[I am] really proud and pleased with what these guys have accomplished,” said head coach Dick Jansen. "The boys performed well today. Lake Stevens through a different line-up at us.” READ STORY »
