Jimmy John's is Now Open in Snohomish

Snohomish has introduced a recent branch of Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, which is now open.

The restaurant opened up just a couple weeks ago across from 7-11, along Avenue D.

“It’s really good,” said junior Seth Cavin

Jimmy John’s differs from its competitor, Subway. You can get one sub, or 10, delivered “freaky fast”, as they say.

Also, they have a wide array of sandwiches and subs made with high quality and fresh ingredients.“I thought it was way better quality than Subway,” says algebra teacher Ryan Gadwa. “But I wish I could get it toasted”.

Sandwiches are available on both club rye bread and sub bread, which is baked in house everyday and is available in 8 and 12 inches.

“[My favorite’s] the Club Lulu”, said Cavin.

The Club Lulu is a sandwich with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo.

Their biggest sub of all, the Gargantuan, was invented by Jimmy John’s brother, Huey Liautaud. It is stuffed with five meats including salami, smoked ham, capicola, roast beef, and turkey. The sandwich also contains provolone cheese, vegetables, and homemade Italian dressing.

They even have their own potato chips as well as fresh cookies to go with your sandwich.

Every day, you can buy yesterday’s left over sub bread for just a dollar a roll. Jimmy John’s is open 10:30am to 9pm seven days a week, so go check out Snohomish's latest restaurant.
