SHS Wins Cascade Football Game

With a touchdown in the final 2 minutes of the game, the Panthers came away with a 35-28 win against Cascade last Friday.
Cascade was the first to score, but then senior Kobe McDaniel threw a 28-yard pass to junior Josh Johnson for SHS’s first touchdown. McDaniel then threw a 40 yard pass again to Johnson with a two point conversion from a pass from senior Bryce Lipke to junior Jess Harris.
After Cascade scored again, the SHS went into half time one point behind Cascade with the score of 13-14.
Within 17 seconds of coming back from halftime, sophomore Keegan Stitch made a touchdown, and a two point conversion was added by a pass from McDaniel to senior Peyton Plucker.
Junior Brandon Jodock got another touchdown in third quarter, and Cascade had two more touchdowns, tying the score by fourth quarter 28-28.
With 1:22 left in the game, Johnson caught a 13 yard pass from McDaniel, winning the game for the Panthers.
