Odd game has close ending

The boy’s freshmen basketball game ended in a tie 44-44 at Cascade. It was a close game all the way through, half time score was 22-29 with Cascade in the lead.

“Guard, Zach Boswell had a great game,” said Freshman Alex Akins. Boswell scored 12 points, along with Boswell, Guard Matt Goddard scored nine and had several game changing shots.

Goddard got Snohomish up by three with one minute left. Then a shooting guard from Cascade hit a deep three and tied the game. Snohomish got the ball with 18 seconds left, they put up two shots, but both missed. As the buzzer sounded the refs were gone as soon as they could be and the game was over. This was Snohomish’s second match against Cascade, which previously they lost.

The team has five games left before the end of the season. The next game will be Tuesday the 27 against Mariner, this is an away game.
