Basic Vacation EP review

If you like the bands Imagine Dragons, The Strokes, and Carolina Liar, then you will love the up and coming alternative band “Basic Vacation.”

Basic Vacation’s self-titled EP starts out with the hit single “I Believe.” When listening to this upbeat indie-pop song, you can’t help but feel happy. The second song on the track list, “Jamie,” is straightforward with a rather bleak subject matter, though it somehow has a certain brightness to it. “It’s All Happening” is a song about the bands sudden rocket to success, has a cheerfulness to it that is utterly contagious. “You’re in my Head” is a song that will appeal to people who like any genre of music. This song is more than likely to dominate the charts in the near future. The EP closes with the “Worlds Collide” with a pop radio vibe that is vibrant and upbeat.

The EP is but a mere starting point in the sure to be bright future ahead of the band basic vacation. After you listen to the songs “I Believe” and “Worlds Collide,” and you’ll have no doubt in your mind about the billboard-laden career ahead of this band.
