Snohomish Panthers lose to Monroe Bearcats

The Snohomish Panthers lost a football game to the Monroe Bearcats on September 19, 2014.

Even though Snohomish was the first to score a touchdown, Monroe took control and won 55-29.  The Panthers made some successful plays including a near 70 yard touchdown by Senior Connor Browne, which got the Snohomish fans screaming. Junior Quarterback, Kobe McDaniel also made a successful touchdown.

When the Bearcats started making their own successful plays, both offensively and defensively, the score changed, with the Panthers finally losing by 26 points.

This game was local news station King 5’s high school highlight of the week, which meant that King 5 was filming the highlights of the game, and putting them together in a short segment which is posted on their website.  McDaniel said "[The segment] was cool; it was a first time experience for our school."  He continued to say, "good things were taken out of [Monroe's game], but there is still a lot of stuff to work on.  We're going to work on discipline, and the ability to fight through the whole game."

The segment included some of Snohomish’s great plays, with Snohomish’s famous spirit shining through, even in the face of defeat.
