Days of Gold Album Review

American Country music artist, Jake Owen's release of his new album, Days of Gold, has been greatly anticipated by many and is likely to produce some of the top hits on the country music charts. Owen scored his first blockbuster in 2011 with Barefoot Blue Jean Night and has continued his success in to his latest album. His newest hits in, Days of Gold, "Beachin'" and "Life of the Party" all have similarities in that the mood is positive and serves as that perfect summertime day.

Owen brings great energy into his music and is poised to follow in the steps of his prior success. His tracks all seem to be similar in that they describe hot summer days and good times with friends. New release, “Beachin'”, is about a day on the beach, sitting in the sun and just having a good time with his girl and Days of Gold is an up-beat song describing all aspects of Owen's summer days and good times. These tracks are sure to bring great success to Owens’ career and he’ll continue to display his new album on his tour this upcoming year.

Country Weekly reviewed Days of Gold with an “A-“. Owen’s prior success helped his album become noticed. The lyrics on this album are not only about sunny days and girls but also about painful heart breaks. The emotional side to some of the songs on this album was nice to hear and made his music even more enjoyable then it had in the past.
