SHS has a Pinteresting new club

Start saving your glitter and tissue boxes, there is a new club in town. Started by a bunch of students at SHS, Pinterest club seems to be the new hit. Baking and making crafts are not everyone's forte but in Pinterest club anything is possible.

During Pinterest club students gather and make all sorts of crafts and enjoy delicious treats made from directions or recipes off of Pinterest. “I just love the free treats,” History teacher and club adviser Kaci Cowan said. The meeting was held in her room, October 30 where they made paper pumpkins. Pinterest club was created by Seniors Netty Silvernale and Sarah Yelle. “We had to do a lot before having this club, we wrote the constitution, and had a senate meeting to get this club passed,” Silvernale said.

“I absolutely love Pinterest club, and all the fun things we do,” Senior Brianna Schwarz said. “Netty and Sarah do an awesome job."

The room was full of good treats and a bunch of crafty girls. The treats they had consisted of Halloween shaped pumpkins and cookies that tasted like pumpkin.

Sarah and Netty chose the different crafts due to what people are interested in and what the season is. Pinterest club is a great way to meet other Pinterest obsessed people and have fun. “I am very happy how this club turned out and how I got to meet so many new people,” Silvernale said.

Pinterest club was a lot different than expected. If you are a secret obsessed Pinner then Pinterest club is where you should be. The next meeting will be held mid-November where they will be decorating and painting nails.
