Sophomore Zak Carlson was the high scorer of the game according to the statistic recorders.  Carlson scored a total of 14 points, and had constant possession of the ball.

According to Carlson’s grandfather, “It’s because of his new shiny red shoes,” he chuckled, and went on to say that Carlson has been playing since he was about 8, and is the best in the family.

The boys also showcased their distance shooting; Sophomore Nathan Rech contributed two 3 point shots.

The Panthers were aggressive to get the rebounds, which helped them control the ball for the majority of the game. Coach Riedeman seemed impressed with the effort the boys were putting out, and their drive to get the ball.

This was a very aggressive game with many fouls, five on Lake Stevens sophomore Justin Hendrickson.  The referees took control of the game before anyone got hurt, and called a fair and equal game.
