ASB elections are happening on January 14th. Here is what vice-presidential candidate Kristina Gauthier had to say.
Q: What do you plan on improving on next year if elected?
A: I would like to make a change in the way people feel about school. I’d like to see people get more excited to come and get more involved with our programs.
Q: What made you choose to run?
A: I like to think of myself as a leader. I’m very driven and have been influenced by my family and I love to be involved in the community.
Q: What kind of leadership experience do you have?
A: The leadership program at school has helped me, along with soccer, basketball, tennis, key club, link crew, Disney club. I love to volunteer and help out within my church.
Q: Why do you think you are the best for the job?
A: I’m very driven. My friends would probably describe me as enthusiastic. I get things done and I’d like to make everyone in the school feel involved and improve the social boundaries within the school.
Q: How do you plan on making things more inclusive around the school?
A: I’d like to have more advertisement for clubs. A lot of people don’t know about all the great clubs we have and I’d like to reach out to people more.
Q: Who would you reach out to help if elected?
A: People who feel isolated at school, who need to feel welcomed.
