Q&A with ASB vice presidental Samantha Chapman

ASB elections are happening on January 14th. Here is what vice-presidential candidate Sam Chapman had to say.

 

Q: What do you want to improve for next year? How are you going to do it?

A: I want to get everyone involved and bring everyone’s styles into play.

 

Q: What made you choose to run?              

A: I like Snohomish High School and want to be a part of it and keep our pride up through respect throughout school. It’ll keep our pride up and set examples for other schools.

 

Q: What kind of leadership experience do you have?

A: Link crew, ASB for two years, dance club for two years, leadership in middle school, and R.A.K.E. club.

 

Q: Why do you think you are the best one for the job?

A: I have friends and connections throughout the school, and I’m willing to spend extra time after school to get things done.

 

Q: Do you plan to make any changes to assemblies for next year, to make them more interesting and inclusive?

A: I plan to get everyone involved by using all different styles of music during assemblies and possibly use people’s music if they create their own.

 

Q: What different types of cliques would you like to reach out to if you are elected?

A: All kinds, I want to make school more like a family. I want to not think of people as cliques, but as people. I want to talk to people as groups, everyone as a whole.
