Q&A with ASB presidential candidate Shelby Garrison

ASB elections are happening on January 14th. Here is what presidential candidate Shelby Garrison had to say.

Q. What sparked your interest in participating in ASB office?

A. I wanted to serve my school and classmates and I think I have the qualifications to do so.

Q.  What is your past experience in leadership?

A. I am the current junior class president and I'm in my second year of leadership classes. I also was elected the swim varsity captain.

Q. What are your plans for the future?

A. A four year college, getting a good job to support my family.

Q. What do you think this school needs most?

A. Pride in what we do, continuing that and being selfless and caring toward one another.

Q. How do you think you are different from all the other candidates running for this position?

A. I am passionate in leadership, I work with others well, and I feel that is the best thing to be able to be successful at helping people.

Q. Personally for you, what is an inspirational quote you would share with everyone at this school?

A. People won’t remember what you did to them, they will remember how you made them feel.
