Alumni Jon Brockman out for eye injury

Snohomish alumni Jon Brockman was injured while warming up for a practice with the Houston Rockets on Monday, September 10th.

Brockman was stretching with an elastic band when it suddenly snapped up and hit him in both eyes, momentarily blinding him. Although he should make a full recovery there is not an estimated time when that full recovery will happen.

Gordy Brockman, Jon’s father, said, “It’s a matter of when he see’s again.”

Brockman goes to his doctor at least once a week and his eye “shows good sign”.

Brockman’s left eye has completely healed while his right eye still has fluid in it. After both of his eyes have cleared and Brockman is fully able to see again he should be able to get on the court in no time.
