Yearbook distribution is the culmination of the hard work of one class

Today  is the day annual will be distributed, and it would not be possible without the annual class that each year put out a new annual.

Ever thought what it takes for the annual to be made each year? According to Kate Obukowicz the annual teacher, the process starts in the summer. Student Nia Trimbo says, “It’s when the class gets together to brainstorm and develop concepts, with stories and pictures, and decide what will go on what pages and how it will look.”

As the coming seasons pass bye so do new events that happen within the school year the annual class documents them whether its fall sports events, or a special event like serpentine or homecoming. Trimbo says, “You can count on the students the year annual class to be there to document and write stories to be a part of the annual.”

Throughout the months the students slowly put together the annual page by page. The students that are a part of the class are assigned pages, and are to fill those pages with stories, picture and are to interview people to make the stories and fill the page properly.

Since it is an annual and expect it to be filled with pictures. “The yearbook class has their own set of cameras, that the students can check out, or use their own if they have one to take pictures of students or of special events that they are assigned to,” says Trimbo, “students are expected to take lots of pictures and then later go through them to pick out the best ones to put in the annual.”

This time of year is when the students of the annual class like Trimbo get to see all their hard work paid off.  Annuals will be distributed today, at 1:10.
