Barbecue ends another year for Panther Pals

On Thursday, May 31 Panther Pals attended their final event of the year with their elementary school pals, the Panther Pal Barbeque. Even due to poor weather the barbeque began as scheduled at 4:00 p.m., and many showed up and had a great time. They enjoyed hamburgers and played games of football and soccer on the field.
Many seniors said that even though they are graduating, they wish they could be a Panther Pal next year and will miss hanging out with their pals. “Overall it’s great. Be apart in other peoples’ lives, and be a mentor or an older brother or sister for kids who don’t have any siblings,” said Junior Evan Weeks.
